We All Fall Down

Okay... Its been a while, I know what you are all thinking. He stopped running, He gave up, His goal was too much for him. well, I am not going to lie. You're right. I did stop running, and had given up. I Guess I don't really have any good excuses for giving up, but I sure can give you a lot of them! But in all seriousness, I am back! I Didn't want to start blogging when i first started running again because I didn't want to keep reposting the same old, Here I am, starting again, just to sputter to a complete stop once again. So, I waited until I was about 5 weeks into another Couch to 5K program.

So far, It has been really tough to get back into the routine of things, but I can honestly say that I dont feel like I am starting from square one. The workouts have been challenging, but at the same time, I feel like I am getting through them with a lot less effort than when I started last year. I have even been running faster than my original couch to 5k program. I guess that it helps that I am starting off weighing less than last time...

For those of you that are wondering... Yes, I did put on about 15 or so pounds. But I am willing to get up, brush myself off and try again.

One thing that I have really missed since i have stopped running, is the support from my fellow running bloggers. So, If you are still stopping by after all this time PLEASE let me know how your quests are going and the struggles and triumphs you have been going through!

Week 5 Starts on Monday! Wish Me Luck!

Greg, I'm so happy to see that you're back! I know that it may seem like you have a long way to go. But, before you know it, you will achieve your goals. You inspired me to train for and complete a marathon when you started this blog. After five months of training, I crossed the finish line at the LA marathon in a torrential downpour last Sunday. Just know that I am around if you ever need someone to talk to as you knock down those walls standing in your way. You can do it!

Your sister M has been good to comment on my progress. Good to see you get back after it. Good luck!

It's great to see you're blogging again, and congratulations for getting back on track! Your blog and your example was one of the biggest reasons why, after so many years of getting into worse and worse shape, I finally stopped making excuses and started to stick with a plan.

And 15 pounds after falling off the wagon? I gain 15 pounds after only 3 days off the straight and narrow.
