I am one step closer to moving on to my 10k training plan! I seriously can not wait! I was so excited about adding biking to my workout, I got my bike ready over the weekend and went on a 30 minute, 4.5 mile ride! It was actually the first time that I had ridden my bike since last summer and it felt amazing! I was on my lowest gear possible and I barely even broke a sweat. But let me tell you, I really have felt it in my back the past few days! I guess that riding a bike puts a lot of strain on your back from all the bending over you do while riding.
Riding the bike over the weekend really started to make me think about mini triathlons, triathlons, and Iron men. And it really got me excited about getting in shape. These are all things that I have always wanted to do but have never been in good enough shape to do them, and it gives me a reason to keep going. I mean come on! I've been working out for almost 4 months now I've lost over 30 lbs and I have already run 2 unofficial 5k's! I feel like I am unstoppable!
I seriously CANNOT wait to run my last 5K and move on to my 10k Program!

I was going to challenge you (us) to do the Culver triathlon this summer (it was an easier one and I had considered doing it a few times before, but never did) - but could find nothing on it. 2009's was cancelled - do you know any more about it?
Yeah, I asked sonny about it and he said that it was cancled due to lack of funds... Go figure they raised how much through the Batton challenge??
Who are you and what have you done with Greg? I love this for you! As I said before...you ARE unstoppable as long as you turn off the tapes in your head that say otherwise. I couldn't be prouder of you if I'd given birth to you...OH YEAH. I did!
