Late Night Post

Hey everyone! No need to worry... I did run, even though I REALLY didn't feel like it. I don't know why but the past few runs have I've had to force myself to do. I think I am trying to find a way out of this, but it just isn't going to happen. Im In this for the long run... haha.. sorry.

Todays workout was one of the hardest mental workouts I think i've had. I just thought from the beginning that I wasn't going to be able to do it, so I had to push the hardest that I have ever had to on one single run. I pushed it so hard, that I sprinted a 1/4 mile because I didn't think that I could make it at the slower pace I was running. I don't know what I was thinking when I did that! But I finished! So I am extremely proud of myself. Hopefully friday I can finish the 2 and 1/4 mile run. I had a problem last week with the 2 mile run. So I am crossing my fingers.

One thing that a lot of you know about me is that I love to cook. And since i've started my marathon quest, I have been really afraid of cooking, because I don't want to get into my old habits of cooking foods that are horrible for me, and eating way to much of them. So I have been spending a lot of time online looking for healthy recipes that will taste good. So, I think that I have found some, and have posted them on my cooking blog. (Kopp's Cookings) so if you are looking for some healthy recipes that are easy to make keep an eye on my cooking blog!

Don't be afraid to cook. Come and cook for me. I'll make you a nice salad. I had the same problem with getting on the bike today, but once I was on...and got immersed in the the book I'm listening to, I was upset when I had to get off and get ready for an appt. I had. It's a matter of mind over mass. You can even take away the "m" from mass and the saying would still be true!
You didn't hear that from me tho!
